Must have these skillsets:
strong customer service, detailed and organized, friendly, team player, take initiative and know how to work with Open Dental.
Hours:
Mondays 10-6PM, Tuesdays-Thursdays 9-5PM and some Fridays in a given month.
No late nights, no weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Dental billing and insurance claims processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Experience:
- Previous experience (at least 2 years) working in a dental office.
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling calls.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) system:
OPEN DENTAL - Experience with scheduling and appointment management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
