Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments - Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and other supporting documentation - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues - Preparing check runs, mailing checks, processing payment - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper expense coding and approval processes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Note:
