We are a small private dental office that is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant who is willing to learn and grow with our team.
We strive for the best patient experience, so being friendly and communicatvie is a must! Open to to dental assistants with minimal experience as we are glad to help and train! Hours:
Monday and Wednesday:
8-5 Tuesday and Thursday:
7-4 Friday (2 fridays a month):
8-1 Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures - Breakdown and disinfect rooms after every patient - Sterilize and bag instruments - Take digital x-rays, panoramic, and CBCT images - Take Itero scans - Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort - Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns - Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures - Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history in electronic health record systems (Open Dental) - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience - Current CPR certification - Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures - Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and using imaging software - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
