Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and experienced DENTAL Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.
The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
FFS/PPO practice Mondays 10-6pm, Tuesdays - Thursdays 9-5pm, and some Fridays Compensation based on experience Duties:
- Excellent customer service - Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member - Follow up on leads & ability to close big treatment plans - Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information for billing purposes - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information - Assist with dental billing and coding tasks as needed - Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers - Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care - Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience working in a DENTAL office - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Experience with dental office operations, Open Dental software is a must - Claims/AR - Team player and ability to work independently Send your resume and we look forward to meeting you!
