DELIVERY DRIVER - Class (C)
Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm
Overtime when required
Plus every other Saturday from 8:00am - 1:30pm
Minimum Requirements
Must hold a valid California Driver's License
Must have a driving record in Good Standing. To be in Good Standing, current DMV printout report must not have any of the violations below:
No major violations (DWI, homicide, reckless driving, drugs, leaving the scene) within the last three years.
No moving violations in the last three years
No fault accidents in the last three years
Drivers will not be qualified for this position if they meet or exceed the number of violations mentioned above anytime during the course of employment.

Additional Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
Proven work experience as a delivery driver; transporting goods in a timely, safe and courteous manner
High level of personal integrity, reliability and self-motivation
Positive attitude; can work independently as well as part of a Team
Safety conscious; familiar with driver and road safety
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation; can communicate effectively with customers
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Can operate forklifts; must be forklift certified
Able to effectively lift up to 70 lbs.
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in providing customer service in a retail parts store setting is a plus.

Primary
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles and equipment and carry out courier functions
Deliver and pick-up goods to/from customers, companies, US Post Office, UPS and Federal Express locations
Maintain valid drivers license in good standing; timely renew and present copies as required
Obey all traffic laws, signs and parking instructions
Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations
Ensure that assigned vehicle is in proper and safe working condition prior to use
Report any vehicle damage or mechanical malfunctions that exist
Represent the company and build customer relationships through excellent and appropriate customer interactions
Inspect packages for damage
Load and unload merchandise to/from van or truck
Read and interpret maps and GPS directions
Clean, inspect and maintain all delivery vehicles
Perform preventative and regular maintenance on vehicles; check tires, brakes, lights, and add fluids and oil as needed
Maintain driver logs
Assist with storage and lock-up of vehicles at end of day
Performs other warehouse duties as assigned
Must be able to work overtime as needed according to departmental workload;
Plus work every other Saturday: 8:00am - 1:30pm Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
