Associate Product Manager



As part of the Product Management Department, the Associate Product Manager will be responsible for managing and executing product objectives to continue the success of Arlons global product portfolio and grow revenue and margins of each product line. This position is primarily focused on management and support of legacy product lines that includes; ownership of the product life cycle for legacy products, providing content for marketing activities and marketing collateral, price management, market analysis, competitor profiles and assisting product managers with development activities. Additional responsibilities include administrative support for new product projects, accuracy of product marketing collateral, review and input product information and pricing into CRM/ERP systems, product inquiries from internal teams and customers, conducting initial market analysis data and manage special projects. Key Responsibilities:

Product Management:

Manage, own, and be the expert for assigned product lines

Compile and remain current on competitive product pricing in market segments, analyzing for trends and recommendations for strategy.

Perform routine pricing analysis for assigned market areas.

Drive Marketing Communications team to develop/update collateral for related products.

Support sales team on internal management of special accounts (i.e. national private label accounts, large specification accounts, etc...)

Coordinate Manufacturing activities related to assigned product line

Rationalize product offering to address market needs

Develop and keep current product forecasts and stocking levels

Conduct visits to market to gain a clear understanding of product positioning

Product Support

Continued Product portfolio analysis of sales & margin trends for profitability and growth.

Product maintenance in SAP ERP system including administrating SKU input and follow-up to ensure they are processed quickly.

Manage day to day account pricing as well as oversee all price increases.

Accuracy and maintenance of global pricing, including regular analysis in conjunction with Finance and Sales.

Update price lists in conjunction with new product launches or price increases.

Qualify, generate and distribute quotes as well as maintain automation in SAP

Develop training materials and leading training sessions for customer service, sales and manufacturing

Assist in preparing launch binders and collateral materials for new product launches

Accuracy and maintaining marketing collateral using Adobe InDesign Software, including Product Information Bulletins and Warranties.

Administrate part number input

Project Management:

Manage Program Products and Custom Color Process

Product management functionality of CRM software, including product information & pricing maintenance.

Manage and/or participate in continuous process and system improvement projects

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Product Management, Business, Engineering, Marketing, Product Management or related fieldrequired
  • 1 3 years work experience in a similar position preferred
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (analysis using Pivot Tables and Vlookup function), Word and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with InDesign, Salesforce, Business Intelligence, SAP experience is a plus
  • Positive can do attitude on job responsibilities and goals.
  • Excellent analytical, research and creative problem solving skills.

Language Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with management and customers with added emphasis on proper use of English in written documents. Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus but not a requirement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
